B. S. Patel Polytechnic, established in August -1999, is the first self-financed engineering institute in North Gujarat, imparting High-tech Diploma Courses in Engineering. The institute, spread over 25 Acres of land, is located in Ganpat Vidyanagar Campus. The institute runs in ultra-modern Building of Architectural splendor, housing classrooms, seminar halls, drawing halls, Conference room, Library, Computer laboratories, well-equipped different departmental laboratories and an administrative block.

This institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Director of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat and affiliated to Technical Examination Board (TEB), Government of Gujarat.
